PhysioX Mapping System
This system loads calcium (or other ion) fluorescent dyes into test cells, where the dyes enter the cytoplasm, bind to intracellular calcium ions, and alter their fluorescence intensity with calcium concentration fluctuations. A high-speed scientific-grade CMOS camera captures these dynamic signal changes in real time. The system also features single-cell geometric measurement, enabling simultaneous recording of cellular calcium signals and physical contractile changes. Both signals are converted to digital data and sent to a computer for recording, storage, and analysis.

Cardiac Organoid Assay

Organoids are stem cell-derived 3D in vitro cultured tissues that mimic the structure and function of native organs. Compared to 2D-cultured cells, they more accurately reflect the in vivo organ environment, making them a core tool for drug research and pathological studies. Given the diversity of human cardiac cells and the complexity of the cardiac microenvironment, the construction and application of human cardiac organoids (hCOs) still face key challenges, making the characterization of organoid properties especially important.
