PhysioX Mapping System

This system loads calcium (or other ion) fluorescent dyes into test cells, where the dyes enter the cytoplasm, bind to intracellular calcium ions, and alter their fluorescence intensity with calcium concentration fluctuations. A high-speed scientific-grade CMOS camera captures these dynamic signal changes in real time. The system also features single-cell geometric measurement, enabling simultaneous recording of cellular calcium signals and physical contractile changes. Both signals are converted to digital data and sent to a computer for recording, storage, and analysis.

iPSC-CMs Detection of Contraction and Calcium Transient Signals

By performing full-frame imaging of the sample with thousands of frames, accurate contraction and calcium transient signals can be obtained. For analysis, either all cells in the field of view can be analyzed, or a region of interest (ROI) can be drawn to select individual cells for analysis.
