The Electrical Mapping Systems (EMS) are equipped with a new generation of Multi-Electrode Arrays (MEAs) and high performance amplifiers. The advanced EMapping software enables fast recording of field potentials from in vitro, in vivo and ex vivo cardiac samples. Electrical activity and conduction information can be studied in great detail at the tissue level. The precision of the data acquisition system allows the precise detection of ion channel abnormalities. It can also be grouped with other devices such as ventricular or coronary pressure probe, monophasic action potential (MAP) system, myocardial tension, perfusion temperature and optical mapping system. These features greatly enhance the ability of cardiac electrophysiology researchers to better understand the mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias. Our system is also an ideal candidate for efficient screening of new anti-arrhythmic drugs and drug toxicity testing.
