Zhang et al. (2024) showed that Prostaglandin I2 signaling prevents angiotensin II-induced atrial remodeling and vulnerability to atrial fibrillation in mice. The electrical mapping system (EMS) equipped with a 36-channel multi-electrode array was used to acquire and plot epicardial isochronal activation maps. The data were then effortlessly computed into conduction velocity, the inhomogeneity index, and absolute inhomogeneity by EMapScope software.

Ding et al. (2025) demonstrated that a functional cardiac patch enhances cardiac repair by modulating the CCR2⁺ cardiac-resident macrophage niche and intercellular crosstalk. In this study, a 64-channel MEA-based electrical mapping system was used to record epicardial isochronal activation maps, which were immediately processed into conduction velocity maps using EMapScope software.
