Zhou et al. (2024) showed exenatide reduces atrial fibrillation susceptibility by inhibiting hKv1.5 and hNav1.5 channels. In this study, the electrical mapping system (with two 64-channel MEAs) was featured and used in a Langendorff heart setup to assess the epicardial activation and AF activity, making it an ideal approach for investigating cardiac electrical properties.

Li et al (2024) showed that DEX reduced the incidence of ventricular arrhythmias in mice with RyR2 mutations through prolonging the shortening of APD and CaTD and abnormal intracellular Ca2+ dynamics with challenge of isoproterenol. The optical mapping system was used to record action potential and calcium transient. The corresponding isochronal maps generated were further translated into key electrophysiological parameters by OMapScope, such as conduction time, conduction velocity, APD, CTD, dispersion, etc
