Synchronized cardiac contractions rely on the conduction of electrophysiological signals. The electrical signals in the infarcted area are blocked upon aggregation of the scar collagen. To further explore the effect of electrophysiological reconstruction in the infarcted heart using vascularized conductive cardiac patches, the electrical signals in the infarcted and border areas of the LV were collected and analyzed using a 64-channel electrophysiological labeling system.
