MI resulted in a significant delay in the conduction of electrical signals, whereas hydrogel treatment accelerated electrical signal conduction in the infarcted heart. The electrical mapping system was used to eval_x0002_uate the electrophysiological reconstruction of the infarcted myocardium in an isolated Langendorff-perfused heart.
