Application of Electrical Mapping System in Atrial Fibrillation

Electrical Mapping System

This technique utilizes multi-site recording electrodes to directly contact excitable tissues or cells, enabling the synchronous recording of signals from multiple locations. Through software processing, the signals are visualized in graphical plots and video displays, facilitating the identification, assessment, and localization of excitations.

Measurable parameters include: frequency of excitation, pacemaker location, conduction direction, conduction velocity, conduction dispersion, repolarization dispersion, and QT interval dispersion. Simultaneously with the field potential mapping, it monitors ventricular systolic pressure, coronary perfusion pressure, monophasic action potentials, electrocardiograms, perfusion temperature, and other related data.

The red color indicates the earliest excited area, while the blue color indicates the latest. The entire process lasts for 5.5 ms. The earliest excitation in red might correspond to the sinoatrial node, and the excitation spreads circle by circle to the edge of the atrium.
Through our technology, it can be observed that the atrial electrical activity conduction velocity in the postoperative model slows down and the conduction inhomogeneity increases.
